Last week was very interesting for the markets, as we saw the releases of the US Inflation and Disney’s earnings report. So let's see what we should await this week!
An exciting opportunity to trade the EUR
The European Central bank will have a press conference at 15:30 MT time on December 13.
The press conference is scheduled 8 times a year and comes out about 45 minutes after the announcement of the main refinancing rate. The EUR tends to be highly volatile during this event, as the ECB president Mario Draghi will provide comments on the future monetary policy. As it is already known, the ECB plans to taper its quantitative easing policy. That is why the further hints on this issue are expected.
• If the ECB comments are positive, the EUR will rise.
• If the ECB comments are negative, the EUR will fall.
The volatility that the markets experienced last week promises the second tidal wave! What should your favorite assets anticipate during the first week of February?
