Ford: unexpectedly good
Ford unexpectedly reported good Q4’2020 results. The announced EPS of $0.34 is undoubtedly greater than the expected -0.8% - that pushed the share price to $11.50 per share and set this stock on an upward course.
Qualcomm: not amusing
In the meantime, Qualcomm fell short on its performance expectations. With the revenue of $8.23bln against the forecast of $8.27 and the EPS of $2.17 just slightly higher than the estimation of $2.10? it disappointed the market. Consequently, the stock dropped from $165 to below $150.
Ebay: breaking upwards
Ebay’s revenue jumped 28% against the previous year to $2.9bln, and the EPS of $0.83 was better-than-expected. As a result, the stock surged from $58.25 to $64.75 pushing the stock price to beat the all-time highs.
Richard Branson offloaded nearly 10 million shares, which equals about 4% of the Virgin Galactic stock, leaving him with an 18% stake.
