Taiwan equities ascend at close of trade
On Tuesday, Taiwan equities gained after the close because profits in the Financials, Machinery as well as Semiconductor sectors underpinned stocks.
The Taiwan Weighted tacked on 1.08%.
On the Taiwan Weighted the winners included Advanced Optoelectronic Technology Inc, Optimax Technology Corp and Paragon Technologies Co Ltd. They soared respectively 9.99%, 9.98% and 9.97%.
Meanwhile, the worst performance was demonstrated by such benchmarks as Ruentex Industries Ltd, Shinih Enterprise Co Ltd and Globe Union Industrial Corp. They slumped 4.46%,3.67% and 3.46% respectively.
On the Taiwan Stock Exchange soaring shares outperformed declining equities by 552 to 237, while 89 were intact.
Stocks in Advanced Optoelectronic Technology Inc grew to 52-week maximums, adding 9.99% being worth 41.85. Additionally, equities in Optimax Technology Corp inched up to 52-week maximums, earning 9.98% trading at 6.17.
The currency pair USD/TWD slumped 0.17% trading at 30.042, TWD/CNY added 0.14% hitting 0.2203.
