Taiwan equities inch up at close of trade
On Monday, Taiwan stocks grew after the close because revenues in the Paper & Pulp, Trading & Consumer Goods as well as Transport sectors underpinned stocks.
The Taiwan Weighted edged up 0.06%.
Evermore Chemical Industry Co Ltd, Career Technology MFG Co Ltd and Leadtek Research Inc became the winners of the session on the Taiwan Weighted. They ascended 9.94%, 9.89% and 9.73% respectively.
Meanwhile, the worst performance was demonstrated by such benchmarks as Airtac International Group, Genius Electronic Optical Co Ltd and Shiny Chemical Industrial Co Ltd. They went down respectively 4.66%, 4.30% and 4.14%.
On the Taiwan Stock Exchange growing shares managed to supplant diving equities by 389 to 373, while 114 concluded intact.
Stocks in Evermore Chemical Industry Co Ltd rallied to 5-year maximums, adding 9.94% to 17.15. Equities in Career Technology MFG Co Ltd went up to 52-week peaks, gaining 9.89% hitting 35.00. As for stocks in Leadtek Research Inc, they jumped to 5-year maximums, gaining 9.73% reaching 18.05.
The currency pair USD/TWD soared 0.09% reaching 30.262, TWD/CNY tacked on 0.05% trading at 0.2185.
