Taiwan equities jump at close of trade

On Tuesday, Taiwan equities rallied after the close. It’s because profits in the Transport, Electricity and also Biotech & Medical Care sectors underpinned stocks.

The Taiwan Weighted tacked on 0.08%.

Ace Pillar Co Ltd, Leadtek Research Inc and Evermore Chemical Industry Co Ltd grew respectively 9.97%, 9.97% and 9.91%, thus becoming the winners of the session on the Taiwan Weighted.    

Meanwhile, the losers of the session on the Taiwan Weighted were represented by such benchmarks as Paragon Technologies Co Ltd, Nien Made Enterprise Co Ltd and TSEC Corp. They dropped 9.81%, 4.14% and 3.28% respectively.      

On the Taiwan Stock Exchange jumping equities outnumbered sagging shares by 429 to 314, while 132 didn’t change.

Stocks in Ace Pillar Co Ltd inched up to 3-years maximums, gaining 9.97% hitting 32.55. Equities in Leadtek Research Inc ascended to 5-year peaks reaching 19.85. As for stocks in Evermore Chemical Industry Co Ltd, they tacked on to 5-year maximums, jumping 9.91% being worth 18.85.

The currency pair USD/TWD slumped 0.06% showing an outcome of 30.238, TWD/CNY sank 0.09% trading at 0.2193.
