Taiwan shares ascend at close of trade

On Thursday, Taiwan stocks grew after the close because revenues in the Electronic Products Distribution, Communication as well as Internet and Information Services sectors made stocks head north.

The Taiwan Weighted leapt 0.12%, demonstrating a fresh 1-month peak.

On the Taiwan Weighted the losers included Pihsiang, Vivotek and Jinli. They lost respectively 9.97%, 8.87% and 5.91%.    

Meanwhile, such benchmarks as Lingsen,  Weltrend Semic and Kpt Industries turned to be the best performers. They demonstrated a surge respectively 9.96%, 9.93% and 9.88%.   

On the Taiwan Stock Exchange, ascending shares supplanted dipping ones by 445 to 289, while 141 ended intact.

June delivery crude futures headed south 0.67%, showing $47.50 a barrel. Aside from that, July delivery Brent futures tumbled 0.63%, trading at $50.47 a barrel. In June, gold futures tumbled 1.09%, trading at $1234.92 per troy ounce.

The currency pair USD/TWD soared 0.28%, being worth 30.141, TWD/CNY lost 0.09%, reaching 0.2289.
