Taiwan shares inch up at close of trade

On Tuesday, Taiwan stocks climbed up after the close because revenues in the Other Electronic, Cement as well as Cement & Glass sectors brought stocks up.

The Taiwan Weighted jumped 0.72%, demonstrating a fresh all time peak.

The winners of the session on the Taiwan Weighted were represented by such benchmarks as Inventec Besta Co Ltd, Associated Industries China Inc and JSL Construction & Development Co Ltd. They managed to gain respectively 10.00%, 9.97% and 9.85%.

As for losers, these were Cheer Time Enterprise Co Ltd, Crowell Development Corp and First Copper Technology Co Ltd. They lost 4.94%, 4.51% and 3.77% respectively.   

Decreasing shares outclassed growing ones on the Taiwan Stock Exchange by 423 to 308, while were intact.

The currency pair USD/TWD went down 0.01%, trading at 30.354, while TWD/CNY tacked on 0.27%, being worth 0.2242.

As for the US Dollar Index Futures, it lost 0.07%, trading at 97.16.
