Taiwan stocks ascend at close of trade
On Friday, Taiwan stocks added after the close on Friday. It’s because revenues in the Electricity, Hotels as well as Optoelectronic sectors dragged stocks up.
The Taiwan Weighted grew 0.88%.
The following benchmarks, including Tri Ocean Text, Lily Textile and Holystone gained respectively 10.00%, 10.00% and 9.99%, thus becoming the best performers of the session on the Taiwan Weighted.
As for the worst performers, they were represented by Sincere, Chia Hsin Ceme and Sino Horizon. They sank respectively 4.10%, 4.02% and 3.70%.
Ascending shares supplanted dipping ones on the Taiwan Stock Exchange by 571 to 181, while 120 didn’t change.
Stocks in Holystone surged to 52-week peaks, ascending 9.99% and getting to 41.85.
The currency pair USD/TWD headed south 0.28%, trading at 30.320. Besides this, TWD/CNY stood still, keeping to 0.2258.
As for the US Dollar Index Futures, it edged down 0.01%, being worth 99.70.
