Taiwan stocks decrease at close of trade
On Monday, Taiwan stocks sank after the close, as losses in the Paper & Pulp as well as Transport sectors brought stocks down.
The Taiwan Weighted edged down 0.17% to reach a fresh 1-month minimum.
On the Taiwan Weighted, the best performers included such benchmarks as Alchip Technologies Ltd, Fulgent Sun and Teapo. They soared respectively 10.00%, 9.92% and 9.82%.
The worst performers were Inventec Besta, Sunrace and Tatung Co Ltd. They declined respectively 9.91%, 9.80% and 9.21%.
Sagging shares supplanted surging ones on the Taiwan Stock Exchange by 518 to 260, while 96 remained intact.
Stocks in Alchip Technologies Ltd rallied to 52-week peaks, growing 10.00% and getting to 55.00. Stocks in Fulgent Sun ascended to 52-week peaks, leaping 9.92% and surging to 73.10. Additionally, stocks in Teapo jumped to 3-years peaks, leaping 9.82% and showing 24.60.
The currency pair USD/TWD declined 0.11%, trading at 30.356, while TWD/CNY sank 0.09%, being worth 0.2265.
