Taiwan stocks inch up at close of trade

On Monday, Taiwan stocks soared after the close, as revenues in the Glass, Paper & Pulp, as well as Information Services sectors, brought stocks up.

The Taiwan Weighted tacked on 0.72% to achieve a fresh 52-week peak.

On the Taiwan Weighted the best performance was shown by Chipmos, Bright Led and Inventec Besta. They grew 9.96%, 9.93%, and 9.83% respectively.   

Formosa Hotel, Infodisc Tech and Billion turned to be the worse performers of the trading session. They slid 6.10%, 4.99%, and 4.44% respectively.

Jumping shares outclassed declining ones on the Taiwan Stock Exchange by 576 to 210, while 95 didn’t change.

Stock in Formosa Hotel dived to 3-years minimums, declining 6.10% to 154.00. Stocks in Bright Led soared to 52-week peaks, growing 9.93% to 16.60. Additionally, stocks in Inventec Besta leaped to 52-week peaks, soaring 9.83% to 12.85.

The currency pair USD/TWD declined 0.29%, being worth 30.603, while TWD/CNY inched up 0.22%, hitting 0.2269.
