Starting with Forex trading, it’s likely that each of us needs to be inspired with the examples of successful traders. We are not talking about big wheels like George Soros, but ordinary people who live among us. Have you ever heard about Ingeborga Mootz? She is 96 years old millionaire, but she hasn’t always been rich. In fact, at least15 years ago, she was an unremarkable old widow. And now she is one of the most well-known people in Germany.

She was born in 1922 in a small town called Giessen and experienced all the hardships and sorrows befell people in Germany in the first half of the twentieth century. Hoping to escape from painful poverty young Ingeborga got married at the age of 17. She was dreaming of the wonderful changes that marriage will bring to her simple life, but it was destined to come true only 60 years after.

Herr Mootz appeared to be terribly greedy and suffered over each mark, which hardly gave to his wife. He believed that Frau Mootz was too stupid to work and trampled reminding her about it all the time. But Ingeborga never gave up and continued dreaming of better life. “If you do not allow me to work, I will trade on the stock market!” she told her husband, but she couldn’t even imagine how to make it true. So she lived in poverty until her husband died.

Suddenly she turned to be a poor widow without any idea of how to live on. But every cloud has a silver lining. Examining the papers of her husband, she has found 1000 shares of a concern, where he worked all lifelong. A fateful decision did not take long to wait. What else she could do? Either beggarly oldness, or a new profession of a stock trader expected her. Ingeborga has not chickened out and risked all she had. That’s how the story of a million Euro elderling success begins.

During the first 8 years of trading this energetic old woman has earned more than 500 000 Euro! Ingeborga has become well known among traders who admire her talent to earn money without any gadgets, trading signals and Internet. She even wrote a book to share the detailed description of her trading technique and other useful materials. At first, the editors did not want to publish the book, considering it an amateur scrawl. But stubborn Ingeborga refused to live with it and posted their course material online. As a result, publication exploded the Internet and became a mass hype. In fact, her strategy is simple as egg

Frau Mootz mainly buys securities which form DAX-30 (Deutscher Aktienindex) or M-DAX (Mid Cap Dax) stock indices. Then she selects corporations, founded more than one century ago. Of these, she identifies those that have opened new subsidiaries. Further old lady picks out those companies that have recently opened new branches.

She gets all required information from the morning newspapers. Ingeborga reads the stock market summary and pays her attention to three main figures: - Current price for issuer’s shares; - The lowest price for the last 12 months; - The maximum rate for this period.

If price of share is very low, it’s highly possible that the company faces problems. But at the same time, company with over a century history is most likely to cope with the financial crisis what means that shares of the company will go up again. Not to buy shares of the company, which may still fall, Frau checks stock prices over the last five years. Finally, she subtracts the minimum cost from the maximum to calculate the expected profit for the next year. After narrowing the range of organizations, she checks the stock price and buys the cheapest.

Frau Mootz doesn’t want to change her strategy to any professional trading strategy, as it is rather simple, trusted and understandable.

In her book "Stock Market Detective" Ingeborga tells a fictitious story with real secrets and tactics for trading on the stock exchange. We highly recommend you to find it and study in details!
