Have you noticed how many Forex strategies and Expert advisors either have names taken from anime or sound like they were taken from there? It seems that huge worldwide love for anime is only growing stronger.

You could have noticed how it absorbs almost every part of our lives. Even huge brands like Amazon, Nike, McDonald's, Nissan, Sony, New Balance and many others recognized the influence of anime and sponsored many famous titles.

It is known that a good trader sees meaning in everything and learns from where he can. So we decided to collectively remember a few good lessons from anime that can be applied to Forex trading.

Naruto can teach you to never give up

That’s probably the easiest one, and it’s hard to find a person who’s never heard about this major hit. You might like this anime or not, but everyone would agree that nothing could better illustrate the constant improvement that traders pursue than Naruto.

Every few episodes follow the same pattern: the main hero fails, his performance is considerably worse than everybody else’s, he doesn’t give up despite everything, comes up with a new strategy or a technique and finally wins.

Same rules can be applied to Forex trading. In order to succeed you need to learn, train, find a technique that works for you and become a Hokage achieve constant profitability.

Little Witch Academia teaches us to always learn something new, but never forget the past

It’s one of the cutest and most fairy-tale-ish anime that you can find, but you’d be surprised how many secret grown-up messages it carries. This anime is something you could show to your kids if you want to teach them the importance of hard work, responsibility and money management.

In one of the episodes main heroines realise that their school has a major debt, they owe a lot of money to the fabled dragon Fafnir. When they come to him to renegotiate the terms, they don’t see a typical dragon from legends. Instead, they see that Fafnir sits in his office in bathrobe and slippers, surrounded by monitors with charts on them.

In ancient time this dragon used to sleep on his pile of gold, but when the world began to change he ceased the opportunity and started to make money through modern investments.

Even the most ancient creature in this world realises when it’s time to learn something new. And Little Witch Academia shows us that in order to be rich and powerful, you must always be on the lookout for a better way to invest your money, sitting on gold never works.

One Piece teaches us to take risks if you want to change something

“If you don't take risks you can't create a future” - says the main hero, Monkey D. Luffy.

Anyone who has a goal in life will find in Luffy a kindred soul. He’s not a perfect role model, but what he’s good at is being determined and realistic. He understands that by staying at home and doing your usual routine you won’t change your life for the better.

To achieve your goal you have to step out of your comfort zone, make a plan and always move forward.  Maybe Luffy is not the best example of what comes to risk management but he shows that anyone can achieve his dream if he's persistent enough and ready to make some changes.

“I have my ambition, you have your ambition too. Which means you should just keep walking forward towards that goal.”

Death Note shows us that overconfidence can destroy even the most perfect plan

The main hero is an exceptional student: he excels in every subject, receives highest grades, sets records in school and spends his free time studying. He’s brilliant at almost everything, but when the time comes to fulfil his plan, his overconfidence makes him reckless.

This is something that many traders face every day. They prepare a perfect plan, but when they start trading, their pride takes over and makes them strive away from the initial strategy.

What you can learn from Death Note is that you should never let your pride drive you away from your plan, or everything you worked to build may come crashing down.

One Punch Man teaches us that practice makes perfection

Sometimes the best thing you can do with your life is to do something nobody does. The main hero of this anime is a simple man, who got sick of his boring life and decided to quit his office job to become a hero. Not only he realised his dream, but he also became the strongest hero alive, being able to defeat any enemy with just one punch.

He doesn’t have any superpowers and when he’s asked how he became so powerful he simply answers "100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats, and a 10km run every single day". There’s no special secret, no radioactive spiders, no meteors, just a regular everyday routine, that’s what makes you successful.

“If you really want to be strong... Stop caring about what your surrounding thinks of you! Who decides limits? And based on what? You said you worked hard? Well, maybe you need to work a little harder. Is that really the limit of your strength? Could you of tomorrow beat you today? Instead of giving in, move forward. — Saitama to Fubuki

One punch man teaches us that everything is possible if you dedicate yourself to your goal and do something that few people can - be persistent. Because if you want to achieve something you have to do it yourself, nobody is going to do it for you.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure teaches the importance of money management

This anime’s title represents it perfectly, the plot is very bizarre and fascinating but nevertheless, it has many important lessons to teach us. One of them is how we should manage our savings.

In one of the episodes, main heroes Josuke and Okuyasu realise that they don’t have enough money even to buy a drink. But then they stumble across a guy, who’s made a lot of money by picking up lost coins that no one cared about. Using his special ability he’s made a huge capital by making small profits here and there.

It is very similar to trading in this way. You can avoid big risks and eventually reach steady income by trading in small amounts more often. If you want to make money, don’t be greedy, but be patient. Remember the saying - slow and steady wins the race.

Poputepipikku teaches that nothing should be taken too seriously

Sometimes the ability to find something funny in a bad situation helps you find the strength to take care of it. Many traders get too involved in trading, reading news, trying strategies that they forget about the outside world.

Overtrading has never made anyone happy, don’t forget that there’s time to work and there’s time to rest. Your brain can’t stay productive under pressure forever. So have a little break sometimes, read a fun article and don’t take anything too seriously, your brain will thank you for this.
