Every year in early autumn Apple holds its event where it presents new iPhones, Apple Watches, and iPads. This year wasn’t an exclusion. But yesterday’s presentation didn’t result in Apple stock growth, and here’s why.
How are things with Facebook?
The Facebook earnings report is coming at 00:00 MT time on January 30.
The Facebook stock price has been doing pretty well both in the long-term (only with the exclusion of the second part of 2018) and the short-term. Consistent growth with mild overall volatility is observable in the chart, giving a reason to expect the same to continue in the nearest future. Currently, Facebook’s stock is traded at $222 per share. The previous report on October 30 made the share price rise from $186 to $198 – quite a good result for one day. Although, eventually the performance went back to “normal”, ceding the gains. Let’s see if the same happens on January 30. As a side note, keep in mind that the timing of the release is midnight of January 29/00:00 MT time January 30 – prepare your positions in advance!
- If the numbers are better than forecast, the stock price will rise;
- Otherwise, the stock price will fall.
