We are proud to share our 2024 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) achievements, demonstrating FBS's commitment to creating positive change worldwide.
Over the past year, FBS has carried out 16 impactful projects across seven countries, directly benefiting over 14 000 individuals through initiatives focused on education, disaster relief, and humanitarian support. Donations exceeded $50 000, enabling FBS to collaborate with seven organizations and make a tangible difference in local communities.
Highlights of 2024 CSR Efforts
Supporting Education
Education remained a core focus for FBS in 2024. In South Africa, the company partnered with Education Africa to provide vital learning tools to students at Masibambane College and restored the school’s iconic clock. In Indonesia, FBS collaborated with the Peduli Anak Foundation to furnish classrooms with desks and chairs, creating safer and more comfortable spaces for underprivileged children. Meanwhile, in Malaysia, FBS worked alongside SUKA Society to enhance early education for Orang Asli children by equipping six preschools with the necessary resources.
Humanitarian Aid and Disaster Relief
Beyond education, FBS extended its support to vulnerable communities. In Thailand, FBS and Save the Children provided a safe learning environment for over 8500 young refugees, addressing both educational and emotional needs. When devastating floods struck Northern Thailand, FBS partnered with local organizations to deliver essentials such as food, water, and medicine to 430 affected households.
Seasonal Giving Campaigns
The spirit of giving was evident in FBS’s seasonal initiatives. During Ramadan, FBS collaborated with SUKA Society and Dignity for Children Foundation in Malaysia to distribute grocery packages and festive meals to over 900 families. In December, FBS continued its efforts through the Christmas Gift-A-Meal campaign in partnership with Dignity for Children Foundation. Approximately 350 families in Malaysia received festive meals, including rosemary roast chicken, buttered rice, and iced lemon tea, ensuring they could celebrate the holidays with joy and dignity.
FBS’s commitment to its CSR mission grows stronger each year, driven by a focus on empowering communities through meaningful action.
