FBS is very much concerned about the world's insecurities and its pain points. We invest resources and funds into our social mission and feel grateful that we have opportunities to change people’s life situations for the better.
Nongpor Primary School is located in the picturesque distant village of the Vientiane province in Laos. It hosts the only educational facility for children in the area. Though being thoroughly discussed in the government, Laos education still stays the lowest among the ASEAN countries.
The school in Vientiane faced colossal problems. It lacked the basics starting from poor financing and finishing with the absence of necessities like books, pens, notebooks, pencils, and paper. Besides, the school location is not perfect, and kids have to struggle every day to get to school from their suburbs. When the rain season comes – the way to school becomes not only physically challenging but dangerous as well. And when the flood hits, as it happened in September, kids cannot get to classes at all!
In October the FBS team visited the place. We were amazed by how open-minded and curious little students were. We started from the least we could. FBS sponsored the studying supplies like decent schoolbooks, stationery, neat uniform, and sports equipment. We couldn’t help treating our little hosts with sweet presents and spent delightful time together playing games and having fun. The smiles and energy we got from these little personalities were priceless!
Though the trip was inspiring, we understand that millions of people globally are still fighting for their human rights, food, education, and bearable life conditions. FBS will go on with charitable events to help, motivate, and give hope!
