Taiwan equities inch down at close of trade

On Thursday, Taiwan equities decreased after the close. It’s because losses in the Optoelectronic as well as Paper & Pulp sectors put pressure on shares.

The Taiwan Weighted edged down 0.70%.

On the Taiwan Weighted the best performance was shown by such indexes as Ace Pillar Co Ltd, Chailease Holding Co Ltd and Ta Jiang Co Ltd. They tacked on respectively 10.00%, 9.92% and 9.89%.

Meanwhile, the worst performance was demonstrated by Ene Technology Inc, Paragon Technologies Co Ltd and General Interface Solution GIS Holding Ltd. These benchmarks slumped 9.96%, 9.88% and 9.43% respectively.      

On the Taiwan Stock Exchange sagging equities managed to supplant ascending ones by 568 to 209, while 100 were intact.

Stocks in Ace Pillar Co Ltd inched up to 5-year maximums, gaining 10.00% and demonstrating 41.25.

The currency pair USD/TWD headed south 0.05% being worth 30.169, TWD/CNY rallied 0.09% trading at 0.2201.
