Taiwan stocks dive at close of trade
On Monday, Taiwan stocks decreased after the close because losses in the Paper & Pulp as well as Biotech & Medical Care sectors brought stocks down.
The Taiwan Weighted went down 0.07%.
Ta Liang Technology Co Ltd, Kuangli Photoelectric Technology Co Ltd and Solytech Enterprise Corp grew respectively 10.00%,9.87%, and 9.85%, thus becoming the best performers of the session on the Taiwan Weighted.
Losers were represented by the following benchmarks: Kee Tai Properties Co Ltd, Jenn Feng New Energy Co Ltd and Spirox Corp. They slumped respectively 8.85%, 8.75% and 6.10%.
On the Taiwan Stock Exchange advancing stocks were supplanted by dipping ones by 517 to 263, while 96 were intact.
Stocks in Kuangli Photoelectric Technology Co Ltd went up to 52-week peaks, adding up to 9.87%, being worth 12.80.
The currency pair USD/TWD decreased 0.17%, trading at 30.550. Meanwhile, TWD/CNY edged down 0.04%, showing 0.2224.
